U.S. Department of Energy Awards Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. $16.8 Million Technical Support Services Contract for the Golden Field Office
OAK RIDGE, TN—Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. has been awarded a five year contract with an expected value of more than $16.8 million. Ranked as one of the fastest growing businesses in the country three years in a row by the Inc Magazine, Navarro was selected in a competitive procurement to provide technical support services for the Golden Field Office in Golden, Colorado.
Navarro will provide technical and project management support for Golden’s more than 1000 renewable energy and energy efficiency projects (such as solar, hydrogen, and biomass) that are run by private sector companies to develop and transfer energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Navarro will also provide technical support in the areas of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance; oversight of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL); grant selection; information technology support for computer operations, network server administration, help desk operations, LAN administration, and web applications development; and other professional and administrative support.
